Dubino (mt.

The oleander gardens bears witness to the mild climate in this country
a few steps from the lake and mountains.
Dubino lies at the foot of Mount Bassetti, stood near the Old Olonio,
city center Roman parish until 1456.
Starting point for unforgettable excursions, Dubino has retained some
of its historical characteristics, mainly thanks to the Parish of Saints
Peter and Andrew, of 1675 and recently restored.
Its interior has a nave with two side chapels to the left and right and
keep the paintings of Caesar Ligari of Ticino Gavazzeni and Giuseppe Petrini.
But the most beautiful artistic treasure is in the village Mezzomanico:
a long grassy staircase, flanked by ten chapels painted with scenes of
the Cross, perhaps the work of Ligari, leads to the Church of Our Lady
of the Belt, which overlooks the city.
The mild climate gives a comfortable stay in this country, where you can
still see animals at pasture and at the table there are the typical products.
